Stepping into the Cong Fu Hotel was like finding an oasis after a thunderstorm, quite literally, as my travel buddy and I had quite the harrowing ride from Sapa! For those who, like me, appreciate a touch of comfort while on the road, this place is a gem; the beds were firm yet blissfully forgiving, making it a solid upgrade from the typical Vietnamese accommodation. Their restaurant was an absolute delight, with a breakfast spread that could rival any top-notch eatery-think fresh fruits along with a choice of American or Asian dishes. We also loved the flexible service-shout out to the lovely manager who made our last-minute changes feel like a breeze! Plus, the central location made exploring Bac Ha's vibrancy feel effortless, particularly with a hot cup of brew in hand from the shared kitchen. The Cong Fu Hotel was a perfect blend of warmth, hospitality, and a little indulgence-a lovely resting spot while indulging my passion for local cuisine and culture!
